This online event aims to deepen PST members' understanding of the role of a mentor as the Teaching Council policy on the Continuum of Education states that, "Mentors should be educated into their role through specific mentoring development programmes" (2011, p.17).
This interactive event will be an occasion to investigate where mentoring sits within the education system, foster positive professional relationships, further develop strategies for engaging in challenging conversations, and promote whole-school engagement to enhance the Droichead process.
