This ever popular full day face-to-face PLE returns and is suitable for School Leaders, SET/EAL Co-ordinators, EAL and Classroom Teachers. The PLE will provide participants with an opportunity to:
– consider practices that enable them to develop their knowledge of the EAL learners in their schools.
– explore strengths-based pedagogical approaches to supporting EAL learners to develop both their linguistic repertoire and access the overall curriculum.
– collaborate with other teachers and school leaders to share practice in building an inclusive school and classroom learning environment where EAL learners are supported to participate fully in school life.
This PLE will run in September 2026.

There will also be a series of two part online PLE beginning in October 2026 entitled “Supporting the Inclusion of EAL learners in Primary Schools”. Theses sessions will run from 3:30pm to 5pm. Booking for these sessions will open in October 2026.
