Application deadlines are fast approaching for our next intake in September 2026 for two part-time postgraduate programmes in French and Irish, designed for qualified post-primary teachers, to develop their expertise and qualify to teach to Leaving Certificate level. Both postgraduate diploma programmes are two years in duration and funded by the Department of Education and Youth.
These programmes are structured to provide flexible learning for participants through a combination of online, pre-recorded, face-to-face instruction and cultural immersion, designed to accommodate teachers in both full and part-time roles, as well as those based across the country.

For teachers with an interest in immersion education through Irish, we have M.Oid. san Oideachas Lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta, which is part-funded by the Department.
