Oide Leadership will welcome 250 Principal Mentors to Athlone from 21st-24th April for two professional learning sessions focused on leadership development.
Through their work with newly appointed principals, Oide Principal Mentors provide a supportive and confidential space for reflection and professional growth. This dedicated time enables new principals to reflect on practice, set meaningful goals, develop action plans, and grow in confidence as independent practitioners.
Mentors, in turn, benefit from reciprocal learning and the opportunity to give back to the system, engaging once again with a form of support that was significant to them at the beginning of their own principalship journey.
Twice yearly, Oide Leadership Mentors come together for professional learning that renews their mentoring skills and nurtures a collaborative community of practice, enabling mentors to learn together and share their insights and experiences.
