Professional Support Team (PST) Training

“Very purposeful training as it leads to a development of a structure and a process within schools” (Uí Choistealbha & Ní Dhúinn, 2021, p.109).

A Professional Support Team (PST) is a team of experienced, fully registered teachers, ideally with five years’ experience (which may include the principal) who have been trained by the Oide Droichead Induction Division to support the Droichead process. The Droichead Induction Division provides three days of training for PST members.

Substitute cover is provided for teachers and teaching principals as per Department of Education (DE) guidelines.
