Oide Primary Wellbeing Team are delighted to share details of our Wellbeing in Education Online Webinar Series. If your school is commencing or currently engaged in an SSE cycle where Wellbeing Promotion is a focus, these webinars may support you with your endeavours.
As per circular 56/2022, ‘all schools will use the SSE process to initiate a wellbeing promotion review and development cycle by 2025’.
The Oide Wellbeing Team will present two webinars over a number of dates in April and May. Each webinar has a different focus, and participants can choose to attend one or both. Attendance at both is optimal to ensure a complete perspective on the review and development of Wellbeing in your school. However schools can choose to attend one or the other depending on their needs.

Webinar 1- Exploring the Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice Online Workshop
This interactive, 1 hour webinar will explore the DE Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice document and in particular it will focus on the ‘what’, the ‘who’ and the ‘why’ of wellbeing promotion.
Participants will have an opportunity to reflect upon and share how wellbeing is promoted within their school. The webinar will also highlight useful resources to support the required review and development of wellbeing promotion.
Webinar 2- Wellbeing Promotion and School Self-Evaluation Online Workshop
This interactive, 1 hour webinar will explore how a school can engage in a review and development cycle of wellbeing promotion using the six step SSE process.
Participants will have the opportunity to consider the practical application of each step of the SSE process while engaging with the Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice. Relevant resources will be signposted to support schools.
