- Explore Senior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2 electives and how they meet the learning profile(s) of your student(s) and school context
- Strengthen our understanding of the SCL1LP and SCL2LP Personal Care Modules

Curriculum for All Students Session 2 and Session 3 2024/2025
Session 2: Key Competencies
The main focus of this PLE will be to:
- Develop our knowledge of the Senior Cycle key competencies
- Explore how supporting students to develop their key competencies can support them across the curriculum
- Demonstrate the use of the key competencies to create targets for student support plans
Session 3: Senior Cycle Level 1 & Level 2 Learning Programmes
The main focus of this PLE will be to:
- Develop our understanding of the Senior Cycle Level 1 Learning Programmes & Level 2 Learning Programmes structure
- Explore the curricular areas, modules and learning outcomes within the SCL1LP & SCL2LP
- Reflect on the progression for students from Junior Cycle L1LP & L2LP to Senior Cycle L1LP & L2LP

- Strengthen our understanding of the SCL1LP and SCL2LP Personal Care Modules and how they fit into the curriculum areas
- Explore and further develop processes and structures to support implementation of the SCL1LP and SCL2LP Personal Care Modules

- Explore the steps schools may take in planning personalised Senior Cycle programmes at Levels 1 and 2 for students.
- Further develop our understanding of the published curriculum areas of Communication and Literacy and Numeracy at Senior Cycle Levels 1/2.
- Explore considerations for learning experiences for students engaging with SCL1LP and SCL2LP in our classrooms.
