From September 2026, the junior cycle level 2 priority learning unit (PLU) Skills for Life will replace the Junior Cycle level 2 PLU Preparing for Work. Students beginning their JCL2LP from September 2026 must engage with Skills for Life. All other students should continue to engage with Preparing for Work. Students engaging with their second or third year of junior cycle from September 2026 should engage with the curriculum as set out in these documents.
